Today’s show is a tribute to the great drummer Jaki Liebezeit, perhaps best know for his monumental and establishing work with the amazing Kosmische/Krautrock/Avant Garde band CAN.  I have tried to make a diverse and expansive playlist to pay tribute to Liebezeit’s work, not only with CAN, but with other collaborators working in various styles.  I wanted to highlight moments from a career of almost 60 years of music making.  Because I only have two hours for each show, I hope this will act as a point of reference from which you can explore other works by CAN, members of CAN, and artists that have collaborated with Liebezeit over the years.  Much of this music can be explored via the official website of CAN’s record label: Spoon Records
