This show is dedicated to my brother who introduced me to dub when I was a teenager.  In the days when no one but the most devout Jamaican reggae connoisseur knew any artists other than Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff, my brother was listening to Lee Perry’s Upsetters and Black Ark Experryments, King Tubby, Prince Jammy, Gladiators, and even Yabby You.

He himself installed a very loud, very powerful stereo system into his car and then later into his truck, and drove around with everything from Too Short to Chris LeDoux to Peter Tosh blaring.  To this day I don’t think that music ever sounded better, clearer, or cooler than it did on those occasions when I got to ride with him.
