On today’s show I want to follow (distantly, loosely) two trajectories of psychedelic electronic music. One is an obvious (characteristically) extension of the German Kosmische sound ala Cosmic Jokers, Ash Ra Tempel, and Agitation Free, etc.. The other is a kind of neo-electro pop, a psychedelia that seems to come out of the late ’80s – ’90s neo-psychedelia as much as it is appears to be influenced by electronic/a pop and dance (new wave) music.

This theme will require multiple iterations over the years, but for now I’d like to just jump in, make a collection of musics that somehow holds together via electronic tones.
