It suddenly came to me that I had yet to do a “classic” U.S. or British psych show, so today’s show will be just that: psychedelic music – mostly rock – from the U.S. between the years of 1966 and 1974. I have chosen tracks that I like – some well known and others not – and that I hope will present a diversity of approaches to psychedelia (particularly in rock for today’s show) that this period uses. This is the first in a series of shows (that may not be consecutive) that highlight this “classic” period of psychedelic musics from the U. S. and Britain.
